Through the Academic Program Review process, units examine their strengths, assess student outcomes, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. This office works closely with the Senior Vice Provost, campus leaders, faculty, and staff to advance the academic mission of the University.

Academic Program Review
Academic Program Review is intended to enhance the quality of a program and to assist in determining a program’s ability to respond to future challenges and opportunities.

Accreditation
The U of A is accredited by the WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC). Many programs also hold specialized or programmatic accreditation, which may count toward the APR process.

Assessment
Programs should consult their Annual Assessment Reports submitted to UCATT when preparing the APR self-study and summarize key assessment activities, results, and actions from the review cycle.
